Frozen party for boys | My Disney Side Party

Guess what?! A few weeks back the big brown truck delivered a big brown box from Disney! We gathered around for the ceremonious opening of the box to find American Tourister luggage filled with loads of party supplies and more. I am thrilled to be selected to host a Disney Side party and Carter immediately took ownership, asking to make it his upcoming birthday party.

A Winter party in a town that could easily have been the inspiration for eternal Winter was just begging for a Frozen theme. And let's face it, we are the family with no need for the lyrics & bouncing snowflake at the bottom of the screen to sing along, because we've been immersed in the soundtrack since opening weekend. "MAAAAAAHHHHMM! EVERY. WORD. TO. THE. SONGS. IS. INSIDE!!", a nearly breathless Carter shared with me when he opened this primitive form of music called a CD.

We're skipping the princess sisters and focusing on the boyish side: snowman treats and games for Olaf, Reindeer food and snowy woods decor for Sven and Kristoff.

Printable ticket invites, found on etsy, couldn't have been more perfect.
For a decorations I'm planning something like this, but with blue instead of red:
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I scored a few Winter items at 90% off at Hobby Lobby.

I've been pinning away over on my #DisneySide party board, feel free to check it out.
Here are a few of my favorite Frozen finds:

I'm still brainstorming kid-approved & Frozen-themed food.

I happened upon a lovely Frozen party at yellowblissroad.com. If you have a girl, I'd check it out. Her white treats are so pretty, popcorn is perfect except for the inevitable trail (eek!)

Spoonful makes an adorable Olaf-inspired cupcake.
You should see this impressive Olaf & Sven cake!

My board has much more, including activities for the smaller set: snow slime, easy indoor snow, snowball playdough, snow painting, and more.
Check it all out here on my Pinterest #disneyside board.

I've updated THE GLAD I READ THESE DISNEY WORLD TIPS & TRICKS SERIES, to include FastPass+, Magic Bands, and Memory Maker information

  1. How fun is this! A young 20 something at church is taking Lauryn to a sing-a-long. Pretty sure she just needed a kid to avoid the embarrassment of going solo.
