Jesus Calling. one short page of encouragement for each date through the year. it's written as though Jesus is speaking (sometimes a bit confusing, so we'll read it in 3rd person instead) but I find myself thinking about these devotionals long after we read them. we've read one every night since this summer. get yours here or even at Target & WalMart.  An excerpt:

"I didn't come to earth to make you feel guilty. I came to free you from guilt. And I don't like when others use guilt to get you to follow Me. It is true-I know every mistake you have made, every sin you have ever done. When you come to me I do not see your sins; I see My beloved child. When you ask me to forgive you, My grace washes all of your sins completely away. Not only do I forgive them, but I forget them. I set you free."

Our family is loving Seeds Family Music. 

We listen to it driving around town & then put it on again once we get home.  

The lyrics are straight scripture set ever-so cleverly to fun melodies.

In no time you & your kids will be walking around reciting the scriptures; so cool!
