Critics are throwing tomatoes at this movie, so my initial "wanna see that" had waned by the time I made it in for a late showing with a friend last night. A night out of the house after a few days of quarantine was worth the $6 bargain Tuesday ticket. Plus, I was sparing my husband from renting it in a few months.Much to my delight, it was well...delightful! NYC backdrop, complete with images of the Plaza & the bridge in Central Park where Dan proposed to me, first plus. Kate is ultra reminiscent of her mom-the poor girl will never break out of her shadow, doing this genre-funny, she's funny. Anne was not too annoying (not a big fan of her), as the pushover girl turned brazen bride. Catch lines like "you don't alter Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera". Cute. Funny. An interesting twist on wedding-obsessed brides, highlighting friendship.
Won't kill the "I'm out of the house" rush, my fellow housewife! Pin It
