SI hates on Tech football

(Preface: Trust me; what follows surprises me just as much as it does you.)

I walked around for days feeling like I'd gotten slapped. Blindsided by the brutal loss to OU last weekend. I mean I literally had moments through the day where I'd stop and question "Did that really happen?"...and "Couldn't we try that again? clearly our team didn't show up; had to be a bunch of impostors!" "No really, DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?"

I was finally getting over it-well, Thanksgiving and our mutual ambition to set some traditions for our little family distracted me. I got the mail today & what is on the front cover of the Sports Illustrated issue? Another slap in the face.

I have to say I was super disturbed by the photo of Graham Harrell shoved to the ground, face telling it all "IS THIS FOR REAL?!"

Why do they have to put that photo on there-full page size, nonetheless?! I'm outraged. I read the article-well skimmed it & was pretty intrigued by the exciting position the top 3 teams in the Big 12 are in right now. All I have to say is GO OSU!!! I'm feeling just as loyal a fan for you on Sat as I am for the Red Raiders. I want to see that OU team D-E-F-E-A-T-E-D! Embarrassed & walking around wondering "did that really happen?" all week long!

I know. I'm SO surprised by this reaction from me. I just really never would have guessed there'd be a day. I guess that's what I get for marrying a college football player who took the time to explain the game to me & now I'm HOOKED!
